KC and Suzanne handled my disability compensation case with the Veterans Administration very professionally. They guided me through each step of my case with understanding and clarity. Because of their effort they won for me 100% compensation which has made a vast improvement in my wellbeing.

After years of filing claims for my VA disabilities to have them filed 13, lost and denied, I hired Friedman law firm to represent me. After about just under a year they got my benefits approved at 70% and un-employability getting me 100%. Anyone filing for your benefits needs to hire them and not go through all the BS and years of anguish that comes with it as they will get the job done.

Dear Susan, and Robert Friedman and Associates, I just want to thank your for the excellent manner in which you handled my disability case. When I came to you for assistance, the claim I had filed for 100% disability due to unemployability had been rejected twice, even though I was unable, over a period of years, to gain employment. Your thorough investigation into my situation, along with the counsel you gave me, made me feel there was a chance you could achieve what I had failed to do so myself. In less than six moths, you had arranged an outside psychiatric evaluation for me, walked me through the grounds for my claim, and represented me to the Veterans Administration and submitted all the necessary forms for my request for a change in status. Not only were you successful in getting me 100% disability, but because of your understanding of the way the VA works, you got my claim paid from an even earlier date than I had originally requested. I am grateful beyond words for what you have accomplished for me. I recommend you to all the Vets I meet who are having similar claim problems, and I, without equivocation, highly recommend you to any Veteran having problems similar to the ones I had before I met you! Thank you again. Sincerely, Greg F.

This is my written testimony about the service received at Robert A. Friedman law firm. I came to the firm in May of 2017 after applying for V A benefits in 2010 and going through the long and frustrating process of doing it on my own and going no where but circles and being told to basically just wait on the V.A to decide. During that waiting period I started to see that this was One of those things that you need help with. I left my home state in 2017 Then called all over trying to find the right representative to handle my case. It was when I came across Robert A. Friedman. Susan was always communicating with me gathering every need paperwork and keeping me informed about everything from the statuse of my case to approach that we would be taken the whole time. Without them the V.A would have keep toying around with me ,but thanks to the firm they couldn't hide key evidence that Won me a decision of 100% total and permanent due to my war related conditions that was trying to be pushed under a rug. SO in closing my testimony I would like to thank and recommend Robert A. Friedman to any veteran who is fighting this battle alone They will go to war for you and allow you to focus on the healing process of you and your family. I am a real person who has no been paid for this testimony but I am giving my testimony because they showed me they care ; So give them a try you won't be sorry.

I received a phone call from one of your associates asking me to submit a testimony for the services received from Mr. Friedman. I was searching for a lawyer to assist me with my VA disability claim appeal and in reading the firms current reviews and I finalized my decision. I spoke with Mr. Friedman and during our phone conversation he understood what I was seeking help with and assured me that he would be able to help me and he did just that. Both he and Susan were very helpful and professional throughout my entire process and I highly recommend them to assist with handing VA disability related claims. Thank you, Michael B.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
