Prior to opening his own practice, Charles was an in-house litigator and executive with a multi-billion dollar organization, taught contracts and negotiations at New York University (NYU) and was Vice President and Director of the National Association of Purchasing Management - NY. He is a member of the Colts Neck Township Local Emergency Planning Committee, a member of the Colts Neck School District's Key Communicator Group, a Trustee and Treasurer of the Colts Neck Education Foundation, a Trustee and Co-Chairman of the Colts Neck Country Fair, Vice President of his Church Board and Chairman of his Church's Preschool Board.
