Wow, if I could give them 10 stars I would, 5 for performance and 5 for the many many times Daniel talked me off the cliff while going through the hair pulling...Co-op process. I was recommended to this firm by the real estate agent, never met him until the day of the closing. They were honest, trustworthy and efficient as can be. So not typically the usual law firm, Daniel gave me options, by the hour or a set price that was more than fair for the entire process from beginning to end...which took about 3 1/2 months. I probably had 20 conversations during the months long process. Daniel and everyone that I spoke with, at the law firm never made me feel like a bother, answered the many many questions I had. I wired funds without question to their trust account, and every penny was accounted for at closing, and I mean EVERY penny. When we actually met at the closing, it was great to finally meet the voice on the phone. This law firm is stellar! Daniel Tota, took over from another firm, a complex real estate dispute which arose from an estate sale of a home - in which the buyer simply did not show up for the closing and then demanded the return of a substantial contract deposit. His instincts and advice were "spot on" as we navigated a difficult situation. After months of failed negotiation, we commenced a lawsuit. Dan presented strength, confidence and conviction to opposing counsel, and prepared such a strong case that within a week of our filing, the buyer simply "caved" and we received virtually the entire contract deposit in a settlement. Dan also represented us in the ultimate estate sale of the home with a second buyer. The second sale went smoothly because the contract was thorough and favorable to us. Through both of these representations Dan patiently answered all of my questions and also provided emotional support and expert advice. I am an attorney - and I recognize an excellent attorney when I see one. Dan is thorough, has a keen attention to detail and is extremely knowledgeable. Knowing I was forced to be a homemaker by my controlling abusive cheating Police Sgt. husband and father to my 2 young kids, Al made me promises that he didn?t deliver once I paid my retainer. He never responded to my emails and was only dealing with his paralegal. I was getting billed for every email without any results or solutions. He told me I had to move out with my 2 kids, creating more stress & instability for my already traumatized kids and myself. He told me there was nothing he could do about it, which I later found out it was a lie. He coward down to my abuser?s attorney and tried forcing me to settle in turn leaving our abuser with the house, the business I was part owner of, without a car, no marital assets or benefits. Yet I was forced to not work or finish college bc when I did, he would physically abuse my 5 & 7 year olds. Al Durante told me I had to take my kids & my 2 large dogs with me and that I had to find a place to stay soon bc my abuser wanted us out soon. He even suggested a shelter if I didn?t take the settlement for an apartment. Apartments don?t take big dogs btw. I was married for 12 years and had earned my share. Thank God I was able to get better legal council.
