Attorney Tanner graduated Summa Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University and commenced her legal career in the state of Connecticut. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Law where she was a member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association and a ranked National Mock Trial competitor. She assisted many clients who could not otherwise afford legal services through her association with the Poverty Law Clinic.

Her legal career began with the Special Litigation department of the Attorney General’s office, where she worked to protect the rights of individuals being unfairly discriminated against, representing citizens in front of the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. She also worked on cases involving Fortune 500 insurance companies.

As Executive Aide to the Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut, she worked as a liaison between and among state and federal agencies, constituents, and the Lieutenant Governor. She represented the Lieutenant Governor at various meetings such as the Prison and Jail Overcrowding Commission and was responsible for researching and summarizing bills and points of consideration and tracking and analyzing legislation during the legislative sessions. She was instrumental in instituting a constituent services policy ensuring that all constituent matters were researched thoroughly and resolved as promptly and professionally as possible. These are policies that she continues to employ in her practice today.

When Attorney Tanner relocated to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania she worked in private practice for a general practice firm. Her practice included cases relating to immigration, family law, landlord tenant disputes, social security, wills, and estate matters, defending Protection from Abuse orders, and other civil matters.

Her current practice, Tanner Law Offices, LLC is in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania. The practice is dedicated to serving the specific needs of a variety of clientele. The firm’s policy of returning telephone calls within twenty-four hours and beginning work on a client’s case as soon as possible, has resulted in an expanded client base and an increase in client satisfaction.

Attorney Tanner is a member of the Pennsylvania and Cumberland Bar Associations, American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the American Businesswomen’s Association.
