DeAnn is presently serving as the president of the Manhattan Beach Kiwanis Club and is proud to serve as General Counsel for the Crown Jewel Club, a non-profit headquartered in El Segundo, which is dedicated to educating at-risk girls in life skills. She is also an expert legal coach for the National Association of Entrepreneurial Moms.
Prior to opening her own practice, DeAnn defended individuals and businesses of all sizes, primarily in strongly-contested, litigated matters throughout the State for more than ten years. In 2003, she handled the defense of her client, Hill Brothers Chemical Company, against a wrongful death action as a private motor carrier of property. Her successful appeal was hailed by the National Private Truck Council as one of the most important legal decisions involving the private truck industry in thirty years.
