Ms. Schwartz is an active member of the local and legal community. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Morris County Bar Association for which she has served as a Trustee and member of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Selection Committee. She is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. She has served on many not for profit Boards of Directors, including the Legal Aid Society of Morris County, the Mental Health Association of Morris County, the Mental Health Association of New Jersey and United Cerebral Palsy of Morris and Somerset Counties.
Ms. Schwartz is also legal counsel to various not for profit agencies. In order to educate members of the local community with substantive information relative to areas of her legal practice she is a frequent lecturer to professionals and the public.
Ms. Schwartz is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and New York State Bar. She attended Bucknell University graduating with Bachelor of Art Degrees in Political Science and Spanish in 1979. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in 1982.
