BRMD is a disgrace to the legal profession. This firm has a total lack of integrity and does not practice the morals and ethics we want in our community. BRMD's quality of service is literally horrific! Bello, Reilley, McGrory & DiPippo, P.C. (BRMD), continue to act in bad faith and display a reckless disregard for the truth, laws, and rules. The firm is morally and ethically corrupt, and non-responsive when presented with facts proving the truth. Thereby, the law firm is aiding and abetting in an ongoing fraud scheme. The firm has no problem misrepresenting the truth to the Court. Meanwhile, BRMD continues to show a total disregard for the psychologically abused, mentally disabled, children and adults. As a result of the corrupt and criminal behavior of BRMD and its co-conspirators, my children will be mentally scarred forever. All the while, BRMD creates unnecessary delays for no other purpose but to and drive-up legal fees for everybody.

I wanted to write this review after speaking with Daniel McGrory about options in regard to a bankruptcy for a loved one that was feeling hopeless. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us in terms I could easily understand. He was also very responsive when I had questions. We are in the beginning stages of our decision making and it helped to be treated with dignity and understanding at such a taxing time. I could tell he really cared about what he does and how he treats his clients. When we are ready, he will be the person we call.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
