I had originally been using a nationwide law firm to handle my divorce and custody battle, swayed by the advertising. Once I decided to switch and did extensive research, I selected Godbey Law to represent me and my son. After my initial consult meeting with Ed Vardiman and the Godbey team, I knew this was the right team to represent my interests. It was a very complicated case involving a wife living here on a Green Card, and many other caveat's. Working with Ed and another attorney, we were able to negotiate most of the issues down to my liking with only two remaining issues going into the divorce trial. My Team was able to help prepare me, so that I was able to ready to go for testimony and we were able to walk away with both issues resolved in my/my sons favor. While I won't say I am happy (I don't think divorce is a case to be happy), I am pleased with the work that the Godbey Team performed, as well as the overall outcome and decisions by the court. I am relieved that this part is over and life can now move forward. I couldn't have done it without Ed, Danielle and the rest of MY Team. The Godbey Team was great to work with, always willing to help explain things and at times talk some sense into me. I highly recommend Godbey Law for your legal needs.

Divorce was a very difficult period in my life fighting emotional turmoil, financial risks, and child visitation. WORST LAW FIRM! The lawyer I got was for my divorce/custody case. She was awful! She was late to hearings, forgot evidence at the office, forgot to document things agreed to in mediation onto paperwork which ended up making me have to pay my ex abuser 3,500. 😭 She knowledge it was all her fault and told me she felt bad and would have it taken off the fees I owed her. Oh that was before she up and left the practice in the middle of my case without even telling me. They gave me another lawyer in there firm but she knew nothing about my case she gave me bad advice which ended me getting a contempt charge more money I didn’t have. I’m a mom with 2 kids trying to get out of a abusive marriage. I ended up finishing my case myself because the firm already charged me 10,798 which doesn’t include the 3,000 I paid to represent me and the 3,500 the lawyer said she would have taken off never happened the Law Firm says they have no way to verify. All this money I’m charged and for what?
