In conjunction with litigation and trial of substantial civil damage suits, the firm has extensive experience in nursing home litigation, cases involving serious personal injuries and wrongful deaths. The firm also handles commercial litigation matters such as nuisance and inverse condemnation claims. Mr. Apolinsky heads the firm's civil litigation and bankruptcy practices.

Nursing home negligence
Stephen D. Apolinsky has successfully represented patients and/or their families against nursing homes in cases involving patients being carelessly dropped, patients' wounds not being properly treated, bedsores developing from lack of movement and other incidents typical of convalescent neglect. Although some of our cases have made it to the courthouse, we have successfully negotiated settlements in all of these cases to date. We handle such cases throughout the state of Georgia.
Municipal sewer leaks
In 2003, Stephen D. Apolinsky won a multi-million-dollar verdict against the city of Atlanta for a client whose business was damaged as a result of faulty city sewers that leaked onto the client's property. Termite damage
In 2001, a homeowner represented by Stephen D. Apolinsky was awarded more than $160,000 for property damage and punitive damages after negligent inspection and reporting of prior infestations resulted in the proliferation of the termites. This is one of the largest verdicts of its kind in the Rockdale County, Ga. courts.
Banking errors
In 2002, an Atlanta, Georgia jury awarded Apolinsky's client nearly $200,000 when Wachovia improperly gave money from the client's account to his estranged girlfriend.
Auto and commercial trucking accidents
Stephen D. Apolinsky has tried more than 35 car-or-truck-accident cases and has been invited to appear with a client on the television courtroom series Texas Justice to re-enact his representation of a client who was injured when an 18-wheeler collided with her car just one example of his successful litigation in traffic-related cases.
Mold/Toxic substance torts
Stephen D. Apolinsky has successfully sued on behalf of homeowners and renters who have suffered respiratory ailments or adverse reactions resulting from pesticide or other chemical treatments or from untreated mold growth.
