Daniel E. Johnson is not only Lawyer, but also he is also over the Limit Human Beibg. During my case, suffering timing, I learn so much from him. Hot to approach/communication, what is the care means, what is the professional means, what is the consideration means and hoe to solving the problem. He is Teacher, he is Director, he is make me comfortable to talk and he is fullly understandable. All staffs are very efficiently helpfull and kind. Someday I grow up, I do just like Lawer Daniel E. Johnson. Now I hope he is my Lawyer and my Guidance.

We met with Mr. Janezic regarding a hit & run accident which totaled our Jeep & I am undergoing medical care from 1-8-23 date of accident. Mr. Janezic answered all our questions & provided excellent advice. He was very friendly, professional & talked in layman terms. The office staff was also very helpful & friendly. I would highly recommend this law firm.

Thirty five years ago, in 1986, Randy Taradash represented me in a misdemeanor case and I received court supervision with no conviction. At that time I thought very highly of him. He seemed more focused on client satisfaction than on profit. A few weeks ago, I discovered that, due to an administrative error in the Clerk of Courts office, the misdemeanor case with no conviction went on record in the FBI database as a felony conviction. I contacted Taradash, Johnson and Janezic to ask them to help get that corrected. As I see it, since Randy was my attorney, he has a professional responsibility to follow up on such errors. One of his partners told me to send him an email explaining what happened and what the case number was. They never answered. Apparently they dont take their professional responsibility very seriously. They are now more focused on profit. I will be filing a complaint with the Bar Association.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
