ABSOLUTE. WORST. ?LAWYER?. EVER. I had a bogus traffic charge and was assigned this phony as my attorney. He never answered any of my questions, he didn?t get my side of the story. He looked at my file and assumed I was trash immediately, and treated me as such. Not only is he a slob, he is rude and doesn?t care if he shows it. Sometimes I?m not even sure if he knows what he?s saying, he talks so slowly and softly, it doesn?t make sense. This poor excuse for a man, never returned my calls, even after several voicemails, and when I finally got him on the phone, there was either a connection issue, or he simply hung up on me. Either way, he never even called back to see what I wanted!! Simply put, he deserves to be disbarred and I have calls out inquiring about this. Please, please DO NOT GIVE THIS FRAUD YOUR MONEY! He will charge as much as he can and won?t even try to win your case! Please be careful! ALSO! THE WEBSIT CLAINS TO HAVE ?FREE CONSULTATIONS? THIS IS A LIE!!! HE CHARGED A FAMILY FRIEND $300 JUST FOR THE CONSULTATION! He is clearly only out to make money in his cushy job and does not care about you or your case. It?s incredibly sad, I just don?t want anyone else to be scammed by this pretender.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
