Dr. Santangelo graduated summa cum laude from Villanova University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree. In 1985, she received an M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and went on to receive clinical training in the field of general surgery. Dr. Santangelo is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania. In 1992, she received dual J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the Villanova University School of Law and College of Commerce and Finance, respectively. Following a clerkship at The Beasley Firm beginning in 1991, Dr. Santangelo joined the firm as an associate in 1992. She concentrates her practice in the area of medical malpractice and has obtained substantial recoveries for numerous clients who have been seriously injured or killed as aresult of medical negligence. Dr. Santangelo is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Bars of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a recipient of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association's James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy. Dr. Santangelo is a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, Philadelphia Bar Association, and Philadelphia County Medical Society.
