Elizabeth Grogan attended the University of Maine and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English with a Business minor in 1999. She earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2003 where she graduated magna cum laude. She was then selected for a year-long clerkship with the Appellate Division, Third Department. Elizabeth Grogan attended the University of Maine and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English with a Business minor in 1999. Following the completion of that clerkship, Elizabeth entered private practice serving as a litigation associate with Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edleman & Dicker LLP. She was elevated to the level of partner in 2014 at that firm.
Elizabeth has spent her entire career as a litigator practicing in the areas of serious personal injury litigation, product liability, trucking/automobile liability, construction accident defense, toxic tort defense and medical/dental malpractice defense. She is a past recipient of the Albany Business Review’s 40 Under 40 Award and currently serves as an officer on the Board of the Albany County Bar Association.
Elizabeth is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association and serves on the Third Judicial Department’s Character and Fitness Committee. She has lectured for the New York Bar Association, National Business Institute and other associations.
