Born and raised in Indiana, Drew moved to Los Angeles to attend California State University, Northridge, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Cinema and Television Arts. After working for a few years in the film industry, Drew went on to pursue his law degree at Southwestern Law School. During law school, Drew wrote an amicus brief for the United States Supreme Court case American Broadcasting Company v. Aereo, Inc., detailing the economic and antitrust effects of allowing Aereo's entry into the free market. Additionally, Drew received a CALI "Excellence for the Future" Award for his entertainment transactional work and was the 2nd place advocate in the school's negotiation competition.
Following his graduation from Southwestern, Drew began his legal career as a member of the Law and Motion Department of JML Law. He is passionate about supporting the rights of the individual in both personal injury and employment claims.
In his spare time, Drew is serving his first term on the Thousand Oaks Traffic & Transportation Advisory Commission and enjoys movies, golf, traveling, and spending time with his family."
