His practice includes complex commercial litigation, criminal defense, appellate practice, employment law, and constitutional law in federal and state courts across Maryland and in neighboring jurisdictions.
Mr. Dansicker served as Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Shelby Highsmith, a U.S. District Court judge in the Southern District of Florida, in 1992-93. He was an Articles Editor of the Journal of Law and Social Problems and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He authored an article entitled "A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing: Affirmative Action, Disparate Impact, Quotas and the Civil Rights Act," 25 J.L.S.P. 1 (1991), and co-authored with Laura Hoguet an article in the December 1996 issue of International Commercial Litigation entitled "Defending Employment Decisions on U.S. Soil." Reported cases he was involved in include Aravanis v. Somerset County, 339 Md. 644 A.2d 888 (1995); Amos v. Maryland, 126 F.3d 589 (4th Cir. 1997); and Rosenberg v. Seattle Art Museum, 70 F. Supp.2d 1163 (W.D. Wa. 1999). Mr. Dansicker is a Member of the Maryland State and Federal Bar Associations.
