I had a lot of trouble getting my Disability Claim approved. This law firm was able to look a my case and medical records to help. They were able to easily and clearly prove my Nerve Disease was definitely real and should have not been disputed with the Social Security Administration. My outcome was very beneficial and the help my family needed. Thank you very much and I highly recommend them. I should have gone to them first thing BEFORE filing a claim! Learn from my mistake, God Bless.

They were great to work with and very helpful through the process. A special thank you to Mr. Carlton, Tiffany and Christy.

They were all "up front" with me! Very important not to just lead me on and on! I was very nervous and even the secretaries soothed my nerves!! I would use them again if I needed too! One day I was just in tears and one of the secretaries called me at home to make sure I was OK. They all treated me like family!

Mr. Carlton has done an outstanding job for me with relation to a Workers Comp. case. I am not fond of the Mississippi laws concerning a worker injured on the job, but this has NOTHING to do with what Mr. Carlton did for me. He is a very caring and understanding person. He did everything he could possibly do to get me treatment and a just compensation. I would most certainly recommend him to anyone that needs his help.

I was lost at what to do. After talking with them, I felt comforted. I had constant communication with them. I was very satisfied with the care and service I received. Mrs. Essary was the bomb! She was always pleasant and caring. I highly recommend this law firm for any of your needs.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
