I hired this lawyer in 2019 to go after my daughters dad who owed me around 65k in child support. William walsh and Kellye SoRelle did NOTHING but take my money, waste my time and LIE to me. I live in Florida and had hire this Attorny because my daughters dad is a runner and doesn?t like to pay child support. I retained this law firm in may of 2019, I have emails upon emails of both of these lawyers telling me they are at the court house filling paper work and going after my daughter dad. After months of NO LEGAL ASSISTANCE WHAT SO EVER, I finally picked up the phone to call the court house to see what was going on with my case. I asked the woman on the phone at the court house if she could let me know what my lawyers were doing with my case, she was confused because NO ATTORNEY WAS EVEN ASSIGNED TO MY CASE! They took my money and told me all these fillings they were doing and NOTHING WAS EVER DONE! This was all during Covid so they played that Covid card every time. Along with the ?he?s at lunch? ?he?s with a client? ?hes on vacation? ?he?s at the court house? etc!!! I have emails from this law firm saying how ?diligently? they are working on my case. So diligently that they aren?t working on it at all! They took my money, lied to me, and wasted time! I could have had legal repercussions put towards my daughters dad but this law firm just wasted time and money. I went to this lawfirm as a single mom looking for help and was lied to, screwed over and my time was wasted. William walsh told me once ?I?m a Christian, my word is my bond.? He plays this god card to buy him time and to smooth things over, it?s a front and it?s trash. I should have had both of you barred for what you did to my daughter and I. I actually just might I could only imagine how many people you?ve done this too already.

I would not recommend this attorney to anyone for multiple reasons, but me being a Christian the most I will say is, ?God bless you.?

Mr. Walsh seems to truly care about his clients. He assisted me through the whole process and explained everything very clearly. He was always available to take my calls and remained open and honest with answers to all of my questions. His fees are reasonable and he doesn't charge extra for all of the phone calls. I would recommend Mr. Walsh to anyone.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
