Mr. Spencer was extremely helpful in providing advice on a situation with my landlord that I was dealing with, and without any hassle. If you need legal assistance, you have absolutely nothing to lose by giving him a call. Do it.

Arnold Spencer answered my call right away even though it was past office hours. He was very informative, compassionate and kind. He answered all the questions I had thoroughly and without hesitation. I felt much better after consulting with him. I highly recommend Arnold and his firm. I greatly appreciate all your help and professionalism.

I'm very pleased by Mr. Spencer even though I have not met him face to face he is by far an outstanding attorney. I literally left him a voicemail and not even 20 min later he called and answered all my questions and referred me to another outstanding criminal defense attorney right away to help my case.. I have talked to many attorneys and u just know by the professionalism of a person. If my case was as big as his cases and im not saying mine is not but just not as federal like he does than he would be my #1 pick for sure. Also a plus is that he does all different counties as well. Thank you Mr. Spencer for your time. God bless

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
