Not only did this law office lose me $10,000, they would charge me interest chargers on all my bills even though I was NEVER 30 days late on my bills. The most I ever been was maybe 3 days. I would get bills saying I was behind and never received a bill before that date. When I tried calling a RUDE foreigner yelled at me and hung up. I will be making sure I post this anywhere and everywhere. I will also be making a complaint to the Bar. I just wanted to know my finally amount to pay them off and move on. If they don't want to talk to me about my bill I will just dispute it with the Bar and let them decided. As for the attorney he acted like he knew what he was doing... But would take weeks to get back to me and chocked in court. Would never reply to emails and acted like they got lost. Good luck to any fool who chooses this law firm.

This firm makes high promises but does not deliver. They put a lawyer who was suspended by the state multiple times for lying on my case without telling me, and then he went and screwed my case up just like he has done to so many others in the past. They refuse to fire the guy and keep him around just to make more money for themselves. The customer service is terrible. Even if you have concerns they aren't addressed. Ed Weer wouldn't know customer service if it was sitting on his face. The office manager threatened to go after my business because I left a bad review. They have sued me multiple times, but so far they have never won. They are nightmare. I am writing this as a public service to let people know the truth about this firm. If they would just admit their mistakes, move on from a bad attorney, and show some concern for their clients, they wouldn't keep getting these negative reviews, and they might actually do some good. But I wouldn't count on it.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
