Experienced attorney and North Carolina native Josh Nielsen is the founder of our Waynesville law office, Nielsen Legal. He established our firm with the goal of providing quality legal services to the residents of Haywood and Buncombe counties in Western North Carolina. With the help of our firm's two experienced paralegals, Mr. Nielsen proudly provides representation to clients with legal needs in the following areas:

  • Family law, including divorce, child custody and support, alimony, adoption, equitable distribution and domestic violence

Mr. Nielsen earned his Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law and is admitted to The North Carolina State Bar and practices in Buncombe, Haywood, Jackson, Swain and Macon counties. In addition, he is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and the Eastern Band of Cherokee.
