Mike was invaluable in his assistance during my recent divorce. I found Mike to be highly professional, wearing a suit to our initial consultation at his law office. Instead of charging me a flat fee for his retainer, he offered two options for an uncontested divorce or a contested divorce requiring a court appearance. And I accepted the former option as my ex-wife & I had agreed to end our marriage on amiable terms during an uncontested divorce. Mike walked me through the process to indicate future possession of our household goods, our outstanding liabilities & assets, and how our property & assets would be disposed after the divorce was final. I was very concerned about any bias against me as a father seeking divorce within the court system, and Mike's counsel was very helpful relating to custody, visitation, child support, and alimony. He walked through how child support was calculated in the State of Kentucky & was a great sounding board to ensure that what my ex-wife & I had agreed upon was fair considering our financial circumstances & debt. His counsel was invaluable with my situation living on the County line where I had an option to file in either County, and his recommendation as to how to proceed positively affected the outcome of my case & the quick resolution of the divorce. The billing for his & his paralegal's time on my case was always fair. He also provided helpful information as to how to sign up for the Families in Transition mandatory classes. Once we reported back that we had taken the required classes & the 60-day waiting period had lapsed, he swiftly followed up on the divorce decree filing & surprised me as to how quickly my case was able to be resolved by the County judge. He promptly provided recorded documents for my records for both the filing & final decree, and I found him to be an exceedingly capable family law attorney.
