There is no where to start on saying how professional and caring this attorney is when working on a case. Lisa Wells is a very dedicated and will do what it takes to ensure you receive the best results for you and your family. I gave her the situation on a very short notice after calling around with no one calling me back but her and she ran with it. Lisa Wells not only got me great results on my case but made me feel like I was a person and that in its own is special. She works very hard and is a true go get it type of attorney. She will see that you get the best out of your case. Love this ANGEL and will have no doubt on who I would want to represent me on any situation.

The ultimate professional. I picked Lisa from an internet search to represent me, not knowing who she was or the quality of her work. I learned she is smart, trustworthy, resourceful, and knows the law. I was scared of having to deal with a matter that I had never dealt with before. Lisa was calming, compassionate, accessible, and responsive. She guided me through the process with skill and ease, got my case dismissed, and I would use her services again.

Lisa recently represented me for two cases that I had. One was a misdemeanor and one was a felony. With hard work and determination Lisa got both of my cases dismissed. I am forever grateful to Lisa for her dedication and commitment throughout this troubling time in my life. If you are in need of legal representation then give Lisa a call.

After being denied a public defender, Lisa was recommended by a close friend. She took my case and made it affordable. Lisa was awesome from communication to closure! Even on probation, she responded to my texts with a phone call.

Miss Lisa was informative, patient, transparent, and kept me up to date on the process. She made sure to respond as soon as she could and made me feel comfortable with any questions that I asked as I was worried about the outcome of my case. The final result of her work is one thing I will be grateful for the rest of my life! THANK YOU!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
