At the office of Albert V. Evans, Attorney at Law, he personally assists clients in the Denver, Colorado area, with matters involving divorce, legal separation, parenting time (formerly child custody), grandparent time, property division and other family law issues. I understand how difficult these types of situations often are and have the knowledge necessary to settle matters through civil mediation, as well as more aggressive litigation. When clients arrive at my law office for an initial consultation, I listen carefully to the circumstances surrounding their cases and help them explore all possible legal options. I partner with clients to choose the best route for their specific case.
I also assist clients with wills, estate planning, estates, small business organizations, and real estate matters.
I was in the sales training for IBM computer sales from 1968 to 1970. I was admitted to the bar in 1968. I have been practicing continually since 1970. During that time, I have built a reputation for achieving optimal results. Testimonials from former clients attest to the focus I place on my clients and the long-term relationships I build with them. My clients' time is often limited, as they are dealing with a hard situation while trying to maintain their family and career. My goal is to move quickly, effectively, and efficiently through the case and get clients the results they may reasonably expect in a timely manner.
The law office of Albert V. Evans, Attorney at Law, knows how funds may be limited when couples are going through a separation. That is why I am happy to accept credit cards through PayPal as a form of payment for my services. I strive to make my services reasonable and affordable to clients throughout the Denver metro area who require the assistance of a solid attorney.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
