Jerome Fishkin began his general practice in 1971 and has appeared in nearly every courthouse in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, from the old Justice and Municipal Courts all the way to the Ninth Circuit. He represented clients in administrative hearings, civil, juvenile and criminal cases. In 1978, he became employed as a research attorney with the State Bar of California and became a prosecutor of disciplinary cases in 1983. He was senior prosecutor when he left the Bar in 1992 to open his own law practice, specializing in attorney ethics.
Lindsay Kohut Slatter began practicing law in 1976, as a plaintiff's attorney in Los Angeles. In 1980, she began practicing adoption law. Since 1990, she too, has specialized in attorney professional responsibility and attorney discipline.
Lindsay and Jerome became partners in 2006. We continue to represent attorneys and law students. We also continue to lecture at MCLE classes and write practical ethics articles for various attorney magazines.
