Nick Renninger and his family have called the Tidewater area of Virginia home since 2002, after moving here from Vermont. Nick earned his J.D. from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA, where he graduated in the top third of his class. While attending Regent University, Nick was on the Dean's List and held leadership positions in Student Government and the Regent Journal of International Law, where he served as a Managing Editor. He was also the recipient of the Academic Merit Award and Dean's Scholarship.
Before entering private practice, Nick was an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Suffolk where he prosecuted white collar and general property crimes as well as domestic violence crimes. During law school, Nick clerked for the Honorable William R. Savage, III, of the Suffolk General District and Circuit Courts, and also interned for the Suffolk Commonwealth's Attorney's Office.
Nick devotes his practice to representing clients in difficult family law related matters, as well as serious criminal matters in state and federal courts. Nick also serves as Guardian ad Litem for minor children in custody disputes.
In his spare time, Nick is active in his community and enjoys running, playing tennis, and spending time with his wife and son.
