Geoff is a trial lawyer who focuses on construction litigation. He navigates a variety of construction and commercial property disputes. He represents owners, lenders, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors in many different phases of litigation, and has representative trial experience in both state and federal courts.
Before joining JBSL, Geoff worked at a large firm as an insurance attorney, where he defended regional utility companies and railroads throughout the Pacific Northwest. With that background, Geoff first strives to reduce or eliminate his clients’ exposure to liability. When disputes arise, he uses thoughtful and efficient strategies to achieve his clients’ goals.
As a Washington native, Geoff also commits himself to the communities he serves. He remains involved in national and local bar associations, and also serves on the Board of Trustees for King County. He focuses his pro bono efforts on local nonprofits in Washington and Oregon.
Outside of work, Geoff enjoys live music, art, traveling, video games, and running.
