John is an associate attorney in Moretz & Skufca’s Real Estate, Community Associations and Business Law practice group. John’s main practice areas are community associations law, real estate law and business and corporate law. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Political Science and History and a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. He is a 2015 graduate of Campbell University School of Law where he was the recipient of the J. Bryan Boyd Award for Excellence in Legal Journalism and the Howard Memorial Christian Citizenship Award. John was a Senior Staff Writer for the Campbell Law Observer and the author of nineteen published articles. During law school, John took part in the Senior Law Clinic where he assisted low-income senior citizens with legal matters, and had clerkships with real estate law firms in Sanford and Kannapolis. John’s hobbies include basketball, photography, collecting historic political buttons, and traveling. John is an Eagle Scout and is a member of First Baptist Church Kannapolis where he sings in the Sanctuary Choir.
