She is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and New York and also appears before state and administrative agencies such as the D.C. Ms. Nagel joined the firm in 2013 as an experienced litigator. After graduating from Georgetown Law in 2001, she began her career as a public defender in New York City, where she won acquittals at two jury trials and won suppression of unconstitutionally obtained evidence at numerous hearings. Ms. Nagel then continued litigation practice at a Manhattan white-collar crime and general litigation firm before moving to Syracuse, New York where she practiced civil litigation with legal aid societies and as a solo practitioner. While practicing in upstate New York, Ms. Nagel conducted numerous hearings and trials on behalf of her clients. Since returning to the D.C. area, she has brought her passion for justice to Alan Lescht & Associates, P.C., advocating vigorously for our clients.
