Andrew Lewis advises large corporations and financial institutions on all aspects of labor and employment law. His practice is a mixture of contentious and noncontentious matters. Andrew represents employers in labor and employment disputes issued before the Employment Tribunal including claims of unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, whistleblowing, and sex, age, race, and disability discrimination.
Andrew also regularly advises on general human resources and employee management issues, the labor and employment implications arising out of international commercial property and corporate transactions, individual and collective redundancies, and the recruitment and termination of senior executives.
Andrew provides pro bono legal advice to employees on a range of employment-related queries. In recognition of his efforts he won "Highly Commended - Best Contribution by an Individual" in the LawWorks Pro Bono Awards 2012. Andrew also sits on the board of a not for profit social enterprise called the Aurora Foundation that works to support people who have had experience of substance abuse in the London borough of Lambeth.
