Jessica was recognized for her work on a case at Gonzaga’s University Legal Assistance which led to the return of the Sudanese refugee client’s children to her rightful care and custody. Jessica founded the Gonzaga Student Alliance for Social Justice and served on the boards for the Gonzaga Public Interest Law Project, the Gonzaga Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Access to Justice Law School Relations Committee.
