Practice
Ms. Hall’s practice focuses on government and internal investigations, international arbitration and commercial and securities litigation. Ms. Hall has experience with investigations involving Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations. She has also contributed to pro bono litigation matters.
Past Experience
After completing law school, Ms. Hall spent a year conducting development and human rights research in South Africa as a Fulbright Fellow and in East Africa as a Harvard University Frederick Sheldon Fellow.
While in law school, Ms. Hall performed extensive clinical work with the Harvard Human Rights Program, with an emphasis on work regarding the right to health. She also held a summer associate position at a firm in Palo Alto, where she contributed to intellectual property litigation, entrepreneurial services and corporate law matters, including a case before the International Trade Commission. While a summer associate with WilmerHale, she worked on appellate litigation and international arbitration matters.
Prior to beginning her legal studies, Ms. Hall was an engineer at Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc., in California, where she contributed to infrastructure and design projects in California and Mexico. Ms. Hall was also a congressional intern for Rep. Chris Van Hollen of the 8th District of Maryland.
Professional Activities
Ms. Hall served as a teaching fellow for a Harvard Law School course entitled "Making Rights Real: The Ghana Project" during the Winter 2009, Winter 2010 and Winter 2011 course terms. During the course, students from Harvard Law School and University of Ghana Faculty of Law assist the Ghana Legal Resources Centre with community-based human rights work on the ground in Ghana. Ms. Hall also guest lectured for the course in the Fall 2009 term.
