Cristina Perez earned her B.A. in Political Science and Psychology at Hofstra University, in Hempstead, New York in 2001 and graduated with her Juris Doctorate from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2007. She also earned her M.A. in Criminal Justice at Arizona State University in 2009.
Cristina began her legal experience as an extern to Judge Redfield Baum at the Bankruptcy Court, in Phoenix, Arizona during her Spring Semester, 2006 and Fall Semester, 2007. Upon graduating law school, Cristina began working as a law clerk for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office in Phoenix, Arizona. There, Cristina focused on motion writing and trial preparation for several criminal matters.
Although Cristina enjoyed her exposure to criminal law, she returned to the bankruptcy field and began working for a bankruptcy specialist with 30 years of experience handling Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 cases as well as bankruptcy litigation matters.
In 2009, Cristina began working for a high-volume boutique bankruptcy firm in the Metro-Phoenix area. In November 2010 Cristina decided to establish her own law firm, Perez Law Group, P.L.L.C. Cristina primarily focuses on Bankruptcy law and Debt Settlement related matters.
