Mr. Short received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Kansas. While in law school, Mr. Short served as a Staff Editor and then the Business Manager of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy. He finished in 3rd place in the school's annual Moot Court Competition and competed in the University of San Diego's National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition as a member of the school's Moot Court Council. Mr. Short also served as a student representative on the Academic Affairs Committee. Mr. Short is a member of the Tulsa County Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
