Mason Yost has practiced law in California for the past 21 years. He has worked as insurance defense counsel both in-house with a major insurance carrier as well as outside private defense counsel. For the past 15 years he has operated his own law practice which has focused on litigation but has also included substantial transactional work as well as representing numerous clients in immigration matters.

In 2003 Mason began traveling to Bangladesh and he has now visited there nine times on behalf of various clients. He has negotiated and drafted agreements with pharmaceutical companies for the sale of their products, with exporters of teakwood furniture and other products, and he has facilitated agreements between manufacturers of ready-made garments and other goods for export.

In his capacity as a member of the Board of Directors of the US Bangladesh Business Forum, Mason has led delegations of business people to Bangladesh who were exploring the possibility of doing business there. He works closely with the Bangladeshi Consul-General in Los Angeles as well as the U.S. Trade Center at the American Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
