About Lee Laskody

Lee Laskody is an attorney and founder of Laskody Law Office, P.C. He has always been dedicated to providing compassionate and personal legal services.

Mr. Laskody attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a Bachelors degree in Political Science from UNC-CH in 1991, and both a Law degree and a Masters degree in Public Administration in 1998. He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1998, and has been practicing in Graham, N.C, ever since.

He enjoys playing basketball and writing haiku poetry. He lives with his wife, 12-year-old son, a cat, two gerbils, and a goldfish.

Our Philosophy

A growing number of lawyers believe that people should stay out of court when possible, and that lawyers should assist their clients in finding fair and reasonable settlement of their legal issues. This is especially true in divorce, where the most personal issues and relationships are involved.

When children are involved, it is very helpful to the children if the divorcing parties can maintain a working relationship so they can continue parenting together.

Some people are calling this approach, "Collaborative Law" or "Collaborative Divorce." We call our version of this "Common Sense Divorce."
