She is also the Immigration Chair for the National South Asian Bar Association and the Immigration co-chair for the Federation of Indian Associations. She is actively involved in pro bono legal work and volunteers for organizations such as Trial Lawyers Care (for victims of 9/11), Manavi (women's organization in New Jersey), Immigration Voice and the New York Immigration Coalition.
