Keith Burney represents clients in a wide variety of government contract and white collar criminal litigation matters. His government contracts practice includes representing clients in traditional government contracts controversies, such as bid protests, and suspension and debarment proceedings. Keith also works on matters involving classified contracts. His white collar investigations and litigation work focuses on representing clients from all industries, including health care. He handles matters relating to fraud and abuse allegations, including matters arising under the Anti-Kickback Act and the False Claims Act.

Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Keith served nine years in the United States Navy as a SEAL. During his last years in the Navy, Keith worked with government contracts and in the procurement of classified equipment for the SEALs. During law school, Keith worked in the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Defense.
