I am a former DuPage County Felony Prosecutor with over sixteen years of criminal law experience. As a former felony prosecutor and defense attorney I have handled all types of cases including; Class X Delivery, Reckless Homicide, Aggravated D.U.I., Possession of Controlled Substance, and Murder. During my service as a DuPage County Prosecutor, I handled over 5,000 felony criminal cases and successfully tried several hundred Judge or jury trials to verdict. As a felony prosecutor, I was promoted to Special Assistant in the Major Crimes/ Narcotics Bureau and handled Class X drug charges. I am also a former Village Prosecutor and have prosecuted numerous local criminal charges for the municipalities of West Chicago, Wood Dale, Roselle and Maple Park. I have firsthand knowledge of how the government builds a case against an accused person (and where the government is likely to go wrong with its case). I have the necessary legal experience that few defense attorneys can match. I bring my experience to my criminal defense work as I know how to identify and evaluate weaknesses in the prosecution's case and how to get the best result for my clients.
