Through frequent appearances before the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Tennessee Supreme Court, and Workers' Compensation Panel, Mr. Thomas and Mr. Schaltegger have played a significant role in shaping Tennessee Law. We do not hesitate to challenge current laws we feel to be unjust, unfair, or inappropriate which has resulted in the changes to several laws that advance victim’s rights. Russell Thomas has fourteen (14) years experience on the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Board of Governors for the 6th District of Tennessee, has tried several hundred cases, has been in practice for over twenty-eight years, has been on the lecture circuit teaching legal seminars throughout Tennessee for the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, he is the author of "Automobile Liability in Tennessee" as published in Trial Magazine, he is recognized as a Trial Master by the Andrew Jackson American Inns of Court, and is the current president of the Andrew Jackson American Inns of Court. Other affiliations include the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, LIFT, Rutherford County Bar Association, as well as the Andrew Jackson American Inns of Court.
