Zhen Liu specializes in venture capital and private equity in TMT, clean technology, consumer products and pharmaceutical & medical sectors.  Her other focus areas include SEC disclosure issues, capital markets, and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Zhen represented some of the largest and most active e-commerce companies and private equity investors in China.  She also represents globally noted clients on high-profile SEC disclosure matters and China joint-venture projects.  Prior to joining DLA, Zhen worked at Jones Day LA office.  She was a fellow/program officer at The China Law Center of Yale Law School from October 2007 to December 2008, where she worked with the legislatures of China at the central and local levels on land acquisition, demolition and relocation, open government information, and budget reform. She also worked at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York from 2005 to 2007 and was a contributor on social commentaries to the China Economic Times newspaper in 2003.
