Nick Burgess advises public and private companies on all aspects of M&A transactions across a wide range of industries. He also has advised on many initial public offerings and placings on the London Stock Exchange.
Nick's recent experience includes advising Epicor Corporation on its £160m takeover of NSB Retail, 3i on its £190m takeover of Civica, Numis Securities on the £560m admission of International Ferro Metals to the Official List of the London Stock Exchange, Marwyn Value Investors on its admission to the Specialist Fund Market, and a consortium of Goldman Sachs, Borealis, GIC Special Investments, and Infracapital on their £2.5 billion takeover of Associated British Ports.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2009, Nick was an associate with Travers Smith and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London.
