Past Experience

While in law school, Mr. Hirsch held a summer associate position in the Legal Department at Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he assisted the Investment Management Division with operational and procedural changes as a result of a newly enacted SEC rule. As an intern with the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, Mr. Hirsch drafted briefs and memoranda in various terrorism cases on issues such as imposition of the death penalty, multiplicity, and support of a foreign terrorist organization, and also assisted with trial preparation in an internet gambling prosecution.

As a member of his law school’s Moot Court Honor Society, Mr. Hirsch won the Irving R. Kaufman Securities Law Competition. He also won the Competition’s Best Respondent Brief and Best Final Round Advocate.

Prior to beginning his legal studies, Mr. Hirsch worked on John Edwards’ 2004 Presidential Campaign, serving first as a field organizer for the Iowa Caucus and later as deputy field director of Georgia. Previously, he was an assistant stock broker and banker respectively, with Prudential Securities and the Federal Reserve Bank.
