Practice

Mr. Bagudu focuses his practice on issues of e-discovery. Specifically, he works with other attorneys, litigation technology project managers, and paralegals on teams that manage electronic and other documents in large cases and investigations. Attorneys on these teams take a leadership role in the document control process, systematically tracking documents from preservation to collection and through review and production. They work with e-discovery vendors and their review and analytical tools; review documents; train and oversee other firm and contract attorneys who review documents; and partner with project managers to perform production quality control.

Mr. Bagudu has direct experience with document review and analysis. Prior to joining the firm, he was a contract attorney for several firms in Washington, DC, where he conducted second-level privilege review of documents, assisted in preparing electronic and manual privilege descriptions/logs and conducted first and second-level (quality control) review of documents for relevance and responsiveness. Mr. Bagudu has contributed to matters involving SEC, DOG and FCC investigations, antitrust law, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture and licensing agreements and medical malpractice claims.

Mr. Bagudu is the author of Judging Annan, a book that discusses in great detail, the genocide in Rwanda 1994, the Iraq Oil-for-Food program and Kofi Annan’s performance as Secretary-General of the United Nations.
