Past Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bettis was a student attorney for the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, where she served as lead counsel representing clients in family law matters in Boston-area courts. She has also completed internships with the African Development Bank in Tunisia, the US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Kings County District Attorney’s Office and the Suffolk County Department of Social Services in New York. Representative experience includes drafting and preparing legal memoranda in both English and French, supporting negotiations with the National Endowment for the Arts and assisting New York ADAs on court appearances.
