Abimbola Bamgboye is an associate in the Securities Department, and a member of the Investment Management Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2006.

Practice

Ms. Bamgboye represents hedge funds and other institutional investors in the negotiation of various derivatives trading and account agreements with their broker-dealer counterparties, including prime brokerage, ISDA, master repurchase and securities lending agreements and term commitments.

Prior to joining the investment management group, Ms. Bamgboye had a securities practice with a focus on enforcement proceedings and internal investigations.

While in law school, Ms. Bamgboye clerked with the Public Defender Service in Washington, DC, where she worked on issues affecting prior offenders and the civil consequences of criminal convictions.   

Community Involvement

During college, Ms. Bamgboye spent a summer teaching English and Language Arts with the Mississippi Project in the Mississippi Delta region, one of the poorest regions of the United States.
