My Personal History is one of Passion and Excellence.
My quick rise to prominence in the legal profession is characteristic of my past successes and a reflection of my upbringing. My mother was forced to raise five children on her own, and initially faced that daunting task with only a high school diploma and the clothes on our backs. I had the privilege of watching as she worked three jobs and earned a college degree in her "spare time" (with straight A's, I might add), then get a job working for the military in overseas posts (which allowed our family to travel the world on a very limited budget). As a result of our mother's example, my siblings include police officers, lawyers, dentists and psychologists. Growing up in such a remarkable family is what gives me the passion and drive that I bring to everything I do.

As an undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin, I was captain of the wrestling team, a leader in student government and President of the largest College Republicans chapter in the nation - yet I still graduated with a 3.9 GPA.

As a student at the University of Virginia School of Law, I was elected to represent other students facing expulsion for alleged academic violations, served on the Editorial Board of a student Law Review, and graduated at the top of my class.

My Background in Both Law and Business Gives Me Unique Expertise.
After graduating from Virginia, I not only began practicing law, but also co-founded a successful business that grosses several million dollars each year. This real-world experience gives me a unique understanding of the challenges my clients face. Moreover, I have successfully appealed several decisions to the state Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal in order to correct errors made by other attorneys. This legal expertise makes me a highly sought-after speaker and in-house trainer.
