Ben DuBose has a knack for cracking difficult cases - and he has the resume to prove it. Ben has taken his interest in asbestos litigation and led the way to discover the asbestos-containing properties of many products previously unknown in asbestos litigation. He has over a decade of asbestos litigation experience and has successfully represented mesothelioma victims in courts throughout the United States.

Ben is responsible for obtaining significant results for clients for whom justice might not have otherwise been served. He has represented mesothelioma victims with wide ranging work experience including: oilfield workers, carpenters, sheetrockers, plumbers, pipefitters, steamfitters, boilermakers, insulators, automotive mechanics and veterans of all branches of the U.S. armed forces. He has also represented children and spouses of those who were occupationally exposed to asbestos and brought asbestos dust home on their clothing.

During his legal career, Ben has practiced law with some of the nation’s most prominent law firms representing personal injury victims and consumers. Thanks to his legal savvy, over a decade of experience litigating complex cases and a work ethic that few could hold a candle to, Ben was recognized as a "Rising Star of Texas Law" in 2005 by Law & Politics Media and Texas Monthly magazine.

His devotion to winning cases is not simply due to his love of a good challenge; his motivation for practicing law is the opportunity it affords him to help injured victims and their families. “Attorneys are uniquely situated to help individual victims and our society as a whole by defending individual rights,” he says. Ben lives this credo not only in his representation of mesothelioma victims, but also through his pro bono work. In one case Ben represented a victim of the 9/11 attacks seeking compensation from the September 11th Victims Compensation Fund through the non-profit legal services organization, Trial Lawyers Care. Ben was also part of a legal team working with Trial Lawyers for Public Justice seeking to prevent unsafe asbestos abatement practices in the case of Families for Asbestos Compliance, Testing and Safety v. City of St. Louis as well as recent efforts by the EPA and the City of Ft. Worth, Texas to test the controversial “wet method” of asbestos removal.

In addition to his extensive experience representing asbestos mesothelioma victims, Ben has represented a wide variety of personal injury victims and consumers as well as mineral rights owners in the Barnett Shale. Ben demonstrated his legal talents while still in law school, graduating cum laude and being named to the prestigious Board of Barristers. Outside of his busy legal practice, Ben is a devoted husband and father to three beautiful children.
