Summer Swallow practices in the business group, where she assists clients in a variety of commercial and healthcare-related business transactions and related matters.

Ms. Swallow’s practice has been concentrated in the field of real estate transactions, where she represents publicly and privately held healthcare companies. She is responsible for large commercial healthcare-related leased real estate portfolios across the country.

While in law school, Ms. Swallow was a member of the Health Law Journal and interned with the Harris County District Attorney’s office and the First Court of Appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Swallow worked for State Senator Kyle Janek as a University of Houston Health Law and Policy Institute Fellow. During the 80th legislative session, Ms. Swallow’s responsibilities included shepherding Senator Janek’s healthcare initiatives through their respective Senate and House Committees and coordinating with state agencies regarding the implementation of those initiatives.

Ms. Swallow is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American and Houston Bar Associations.
