Ameena Ashfaq focuses her practice on providing legal services to the healthcare industry. Her practice is concentrated on the issues of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, coverage and overpayment disputes. She also assists with healthcare regulatory, compliance and enforcement matters.

During law school, Ms. Ashfaq served on the Executive Board of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law as Executive Student Notes Editor. She was a judicial intern for Judge Nancy Atlas of the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas. Additionally, while serving as Ombudsman of The University of Texas at Austin, Ms. Ashfaq gained extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution and mediation.

Ms. Ashfaq is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Health Lawyer Association and the Asian-American Bar Association.
