José has counseled clients in credit financing, structuring, contract negotiation, financing, and post-financing negotiations. He also is active in the development, financing, construction, and operation of infrastructure projects in Mexico, including renewable energy, port terminals, and other public infrastructure assets. José has acted as borrower and lender counsel in credit transactions and has participated in various debt restructurings.
His energy law practice includes energy regulatory counseling, filing requests of regulatory authorizations, energy compliance, and negotiation and implementation of power supply agreements.
